Privacy
Policy.
This document governs the use of conectalab.co. Projects, proposals and professional services contracted with Conecta Lab are also governed by their own contracts, service orders or commercial agreements.
Data controller
Conecta Lab Corp., doing business as “Conecta Lab”, is responsible for the decisions about personal data processed through conectalab.co and its direct commercial communications.

Scope of this policy
This policy explains how we collect, use, retain, share and protect the personal data of Site visitors, people interested in our services, representatives of clients, suppliers and partners, and other professional contacts.
It does not govern processing carried out independently by products, partners or linked external sites. Nor does it replace specific notices or agreements that may apply to a project, employment relationship, recruitment process or contracted service.
Legal framework and principles
We apply this policy in light of Law 81 of 2019 and its regulations in Panama, and Statutory Law 1581 of 2012 and supplementary rules in Colombia, where applicable.
We process information in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, proportionality, accuracy, security, confidentiality, restricted access and limited retention.
Data we may collect
Information you provide directly
- Name, email address, phone number, company and job title.
- Project description, needs, approximate budget, timelines and contact preferences.
- In the demo request form: type of business and approximate number of sites or locations.
- Content of emails, messages, meetings, proposals and other professional communications.
- Administrative, contractual or billing information where a commercial relationship exists.
Technical information
- IP address, browser type, device, operating system, date, time, requested URL and technical security events.
- General availability and delivery data generated by the hosting infrastructure.
Analytics data (only with consent)
- Pages visited, length of visit and referral source (for example, a search engine or social network).
- Approximate location derived from the IP address by Google, and device and browser data.
- Interaction events, such as form submissions and clicks on phone, email and WhatsApp links.
This analytics data is collected only if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner. We do not deliberately request passwords, full financial information, medical records, biometric data, sexual orientation, political affiliation or other sensitive data through this Site.
Contact and demo request forms
Both the contact form and the Pulso demo request form prepare a message and open the email application configured on the user’s device. The Site does not store these forms in its own database.
Once the email is sent, its content is handled within our communication and sales management services in order to respond to the request. The sender’s email provider will also process the message under its own terms.
Links to WhatsApp open the WhatsApp app or web version, a Meta service. From that point, the content of the chat is governed by WhatsApp’s terms and privacy policy, and we will handle the conversation in order to respond to your inquiry. You can also visit our contact page.
Purposes of processing
We may use personal data to:
- Handle inquiries, requests, meetings and proposals.
- Assess needs and structure possible solutions or commercial relationships.
- Perform contracts, projects and administrative obligations.
- Maintain communications with clients, suppliers and partners.
- Protect the Site, prevent fraud, investigate incidents and ensure technical continuity.
- Comply with legal, accounting, tax and regulatory obligations or requests from authorities.
- Defend rights, manage disputes and retain evidence of transactions.
- Send informational or commercial communications where authorization or another applicable legitimate basis exists, always respecting the right to object.
- Measure use of the Site and improve content and campaigns, only with consent where applicable.
- Produce aggregated statistics that do not reasonably identify an individual.
Legal bases for processing
Depending on the context and applicable law, we process data on the basis of informed consent (including consent for non-essential analytics); a request for pre-contractual steps; performance of a contract; compliance with a legal obligation; protection of rights; or a legitimate interest that does not override the data subject’s rights.
Where a purpose requires consent, it may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand or data we must retain under a legal or contractual obligation.
Processors, providers and recipients
We may grant limited access to providers acting under our instructions to deliver web hosting, email, storage, collaboration, analytics, security, technical support, accounting or contract management. These include:
- Firebase Hosting (Google), which hosts and delivers the Site.
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (Google LLC), for the optional analytics described above, only with consent.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers, auditors, authorities or counterparties where necessary to comply with the law, protect rights or carry out a legitimate corporate transaction.
We do not sell personal data, nor do we give it to third parties so they can run independent profile-based advertising.
International transfers
Because of our regional operations and the use of global technology services, information may be stored or processed in Panama, Colombia, the United States or other countries where our providers operate. In particular, Google processes data in the United States and other countries.
Where appropriate, we will adopt contracts, authorizations, assessments or reasonable safeguards to ensure an adequate level of protection and to comply with the applicable rules on international data transfers.
Retention and deletion
We keep data only for as long as necessary for the stated purpose. An inquiry that does not become a commercial relationship may be kept for a reasonable period for follow-up, evidence and continuity of the conversation.
Contractual, accounting, tax and legal defense data may be kept for the periods required by law or for as long as liabilities may arise. Afterwards, it will be securely deleted, anonymized or blocked, unless a legitimate retention obligation applies.
Security and incident management
We apply administrative, technical and organizational measures proportionate to the type of information and the risk, such as access control, encryption in transit, credential management, backups and responsible selection of providers.
No system is completely invulnerable. If an incident occurs that could significantly affect people’s rights, we will investigate, mitigate its effects and make any notifications to data subjects or authorities required by applicable law.
Rights of data subjects
Under applicable law, a person may request to:
- Know whether we process their data and access it.
- Know the source, purposes and recipients of the processing.
- Update or correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated information.
- Obtain proof of authorization where required.
- Object to certain uses or request restriction of processing.
- Withdraw consent and request deletion, where there is no legal or contractual duty to retain the data.
- Stop receiving additional commercial communications.
- Lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
Exercising these rights is free of charge, except for exceptional costs permitted by law.
Procedure for inquiries and complaints
Send your request to info@conectalab.co with the subject “Personal data request” and include:
- Your name and enough information to verify your identity.
- The country and means through which you wish to receive the response.
- A clear description of the right you wish to exercise.
- Data, documents or context that allow us to locate the information.
- Proof of representation, if you act on behalf of another person.
We may request additional information only where necessary to verify identity or understand the request. We will respond within the deadlines set by applicable law.
Supervisory authorities
We will try to resolve any concern directly. Without prejudice to that, individuals may turn to:
- In Panama, the National Authority for Transparency and Access to Information (ANTAI).
- In Colombia, the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), once the prior procedure required before the controller has been exhausted.
Minors’ data
Our business services are not directed at minors. We do not knowingly collect their data through the Site. If we learn that we have received information from a minor without the authorization or conditions required by law, we will take steps to delete it or restrict its processing.
Automated decisions and profiling
We do not use data collected through this Site to make solely automated decisions that produce legal effects or significantly affect a person. We do not build advertising profiles from your browsing: we only use aggregated analytics statistics, and only when you have given your consent.
External links and services
Links to social networks, partners, products and external platforms lead to environments we do not control. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before providing information. This policy does not cover the independent processing carried out by those third parties.
Policy updates
We may update this policy due to legal, technical or operational changes. We will publish the new version at this same URL and indicate the update date. If a change substantially alters a purpose or requires new consent, we will provide the corresponding notice or mechanism.
In case of discrepancy between language versions, the Spanish version prevails.
